Executives joining the company include Joel Brown in the role of Senior Vice President of Sales. Joel was previously the Vice President of Sales at Lexia Learning, a well-known and respected reading software company. Prior to Lexia Learning, Joel was Vice President of International Sales for Lycos and previously worked as a Director of Sales for Boston.com. Joel has a BS in Business Administration from Merrimack College.
Jason Degeorge has joined ColllegeWeekLive as the Vice President of Technology. Prior to joining CollegeWeekLive, Jason was Vice President of Technology for Nellymoser, a mobile technology company that creates rich interactive media applications on mobile devices. Before working at Nellymoser, Jason founded Undertree Communications, a technology consulting firm. Jason has a BA in Mathematics from Wesleyan College.
Sharon Fagan, Vice President of Client Services, comes to CollegeWeekLive from TechTarget, where she rose from Events Director to Director of Campaign Management. TechTarget is a technology media firm that provides event management, custom advertising and lead generation solutions built on its network of 100 online and social media outlets such as TechnologyGuide.com, ComputerWeekly.com, and SearchStorage.com. Sharon holds a BA from Northeastern University.
Joining the executive team in the role of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is Kathryn Maguire. Prior to joining CollegeWeekLive, Kathryn co-founded and served as Vice President of Business Development for CityVoter, a software company that powers an awardwinning contest platform specializing in consumer engagement at the local level. CityVoter conducts online contests, sweepstakes and brackets for clients such as ABC, Hearst Television, Boston.com, Gannett Media, Gilt Group and Zipcar. Kathryn is currently a Managing Director with Golden Seeds, an angel investor network specializing in startups founded by women entrepreneurs. Kathryn has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
