"If I Knew Then, What I Know Now: The Inside Scoop About the College Experience", begins at 3:00 PM EDT and offers lessons learned in applying to college, obtaining federal financial aid and the college experience from the perspective of Amy, an undergraduate student and Federal Student Aid intern, and Cameron, a recent graduate and Web Services specialist at Federal Student Aid.

At 4:00 PM EDT, a presentation titled, "Federal Financial Aid 101" offers the basics on how to get money for college from the U.S. Department of Education. Presenter Valerie, Management and Program Analyst, will walk through the basics of Federal Student Aid and will review various types of financial aid from grants to loans, and how to find the best resources available to help students get money for college.

"FAFSA 101: Learn the Ins and Outs of Applying for Financial Aid" will begin at 5:00 PM EDT. Two representatives from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid, Andrea, Management and Program Analyst, and Valerie will discuss the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). During this session, Andrea and Valerie will cover the basics of how and when to apply for aid and provide details on what information you'll need to have readily available before you begin and where to get help completing the application.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions to be answered by these representatives during all presentations. In addition to the live video presentations, the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Federal Student Aid will be answering questions live via text chat and phone until midnight MDT in their virtual booth. Resources and information to help college-bound students successfully apply for federal college funding are also available in the virtual booth.
