Boston, MA October 13, 2009 -- CollegeWeekLive, the world's largest free college fair which meets several times a year, will host the first-ever regional college fair held completely online Thursday October 15th. New England Day at CollegeWeekLive will bring together high school juniors and seniors from across the country and around the world with admissions representatives from fifty leading New England region colleges and universities. The day will include live presentations from admissions experts, live text and video chat between students and colleges, as well as live video student chats with current college students -- right from their dorm rooms.

CollegeWeekLive admissions events, which are free to attend, bring colleges and prospective students together online, transcending time and distance. The events offer high school students an opportunity to meet and text chat with admissions representatives from colleges and view live streaming video presentations featuring admissions experts. Attendees can text in questions to be answered by presenters on the spot.

Presenters at the October 15th free online event include a Who's Who of education leaders and admissions experts. Richard M. Freeland, commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education and president emeritus and University Professor at Northeastern University and the Mosakowski Professor of Higher Education at Clark University, will present at 2:00 PM Eastern. Michael Thomas, CEO and President of New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) will moderate.
